C-COMPOST & FERTILIZER- ANRICO has contracted with a successful USA fertilizer company to come to Ghana to formulate a certified Organic fertilizer and line of compost products, using the byproduct of the cocoa husk, seaweed from the ocean, and nitrogen coming from the waste of our own 450,000 chicken farms, which at the present time this valuable nitrogen is being thrown away. The introduction of organic fertilizers and compost will assist in higher quality cocoa and lessen the likelihood of Black Pod fungus disease and swollen shoot disease, thus improving the annual yield of each farmer that is part of the Anrico umbrella.
